A Single CMS for every brand
Oscar Group approached Disruptiv after wrapping up a rebranding exercise that involved organising its sub-brands under the main brand. Disruptiv was brought on board to redesign all their sub-brand websites. While the sub-brands have similar functions, they offer different product lines and cater to various markets. It quickly became clear that a multi-tenant solution was the way to go. This solution lets the Oscar Group team log into a single Content Management System (CMS) to manage all their websites. Since many products are shared across these sites, the shared catalogue feature pulls products from their core system, NetSuite, to keep everything up-to-date and consistent.
The main challenge was figuring out how to model the data for Oscar’s unique product configurations. With many conditional elements to product variants, we realised that conditional product configurations were necessary for users to customise their furniture. In the next stage, we’re planning to further enhance the platform, allowing Oscar Group to take orders directly through the system without disrupting their internal order processing within NetSuite.

The Multi-tenant Solution
Oscar Group now has the ability to log into a single Content Management System (CMS) to manage all their sub-brand websites. The advantage of this Multi-Tenant System is that both the front end and back end modules are shared across all tenants.
This approach significantly reduces development efforts as the Group scales and continues to acquire new brands. It also maintains the integrity of functional modules, such as the NetSuite integration, because instead of building multiple modules for different websites, we built a scalable solution that can be applied to any new tenant added to the system.
